Latin Name: Triticum vulgare

Description: This is a thick, heavy dark reddish-orange oil which is
slightly sticky and has a very strong odor. It is rich in proteins,
vitamins, minerals and especially vitamin E. It has good antioxidant
properties.
Uses:
It is said to stimulate tissue regeneration and is good for scars and
stretch marks, psoriasis and eczema.
Skin Types:
Good oil for aging skin and wrinkles.
Notes:
Do not use full strength as the odor can be overpowering. Always dilute
with another carrier oil using only 5-10%.
Warning: This oil may cause sensitization in some individuals. Do NOT
use if you are allergic to wheat or gluten.
Dilutions of 1
- 3% are usual
when blending essential
oils with carrier oils. Carrier oils can be used alone or as blends.
