Description: This oil is rich in fatty acids, and very soothing/lubricating to the skin. It acts as a humectant attracting moisture to the skin. The oil has a distinct, heavy scent and is of amber color

Uses: This oil is commonly used as a base for bath oils since it mixes readily with water and allows other oils to emulsify in water. It is the only oil that will completely disperse in water and not leave an oily ring around the tub. It's a preferred oil in bath products due to its ability to disperse completely in water.

Dilutions of 1 - 3% are usual when blending essential oils with carrier oils. Carrier oils can be used alone or as blends.
