Latin Name: Macadami integrifolia

Description: This oil is derived from a small evergreen tree which is
native to Australia but is also grown in Hawaii. This oil is high in
palmitoleic acid which acts as an antioxidant preventing deterioration
of cell membranes and is also an acid which is found in human sebum.
Uses: Good oil for facial and hair care.
Skin Types:
Perfect for mature skin macadamia nut oil is very hydrating and gentle.
Notes: Warning: Some people may be allergic to this so patch test
first.
Dilutions of 1
- 3% are usual
when blending essential
oils with carrier oils. Carrier oils can be used alone or as blends.
